Media Content Requests and Issue Reports

This guide will show you how to make a request for a movie.
The software used is Overseerr.

Making a Movie or TV show request

Go to https://potatosalad.party and sign in using your Plex account,
Hover over the left sidebar and go to "Overseerr (Requests)"
Sign in using your Plex account again.
On the "Discover" tab, search for a movie or TV show.
When you find the one you want, hover over it and click "Request"
If it's a movie, click "Request" again to confirm. You're done if it is a movie. If it's a TV show go to step 7.
If you're requesting a TV show, select the seasons you would like (I prefer getting complete series so you may as well just select them all).
Finally, click "Request" to submit the request.

There are currently two ways you can request music.

This option is only available if you are a member of my Discord server.

On the Discord server, navigate to the #music_requests chat under the "Potato Salad Media" category.
Send a message to the chat specifying the content you want.
The format you should use is: Artist - Album (Year)
Please include any additional information if necessary.

Simply send an email specifying the content you want to the admin email address.

The format you should use is: Artist - Album (Year)
Please include any additional information if necessary.
You can make multiple requests in one email as long as they follow the above format.

Go to https://potatosalad.party and sign in with your Plex account.
Hover over the left sidebar and click "Overseerr (Requests)" and sign in with your Plex account again.
Using the search bar, search for the media that is having an issue.
Select the media with the issue.
On the right side of the information page, click the yellow warning icon to report and issue.
Fill out the issue report with specific information to make it easier for me to replicate and fix.
Once, you've filled out the report, click "Submit Issue" to finish.

If you are reporting an issue with a TV show, please indicate which season and which episode you are experiencing an issue with.
Please include a timestamp where the issue occurs if applicable.
Submit a separate issue report for different series or movies. If a whole season of a show is having issues, that can be one report.
Do NOT submit an issue if it's to request a different version of content (higher bitrate, resolution, etc.)
Do NOT submit an issue to request and dubbed version of an anime.
